Maano Capital holds Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of R1 million.
5. Conflicts of Interest
Maano Capital has adopted a Conflicts of Interest Management Policy as required by the FAIS Act. A copy is available on request.
– No marketing is done for any product supplier.
– Remuneration is disclosed upfront (fees/commissions).
– Any potential conflict will be disclosed in writing to the client before concluding a transaction.
6. Confidentiality, POPIA & FICA
– Maano Capital complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA): client information is treated as strictly confidential and used only for the purpose for which it was collected.
– Client records (including FICA and mandate documents) are stored securely on with restricted access.
– Maano Capital is an accountable institution under FICA: clients must provide identification and proof of residence documents before services can be rendered.
